Title: Sales Representative Outside & Inside New York City.
Principal Function: Interact with clients, maintain and cultivate mutually beneficial relationships between clients and Acme Safe Company. Make introductory calls(Inside & outside), qualify accounts, & close sales.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prospect and qualify new accounts both in the field (Primary), via telephone & internet.
- Maintain and cultivate existing accounts.
- Inside Sales Calls.
- Customer service.
- Present product demonstrations and information.
- Research and prepare bids and phone quotes.
Minor Activities:
- Update client files daily.
- Report monthly on target clients.
- Monthly product forecasts.
- Develop annual Sales plan.
- Attend trade shows and conferences were applicable.
- Attend company meetings.
- Plan and conduct self-directed education and training.
- Gather information and report on competition.
- All other duties as delegated by management.
Status and Scope:
Interacts daily with clients and company support services, performs hand on support were necessary. Sales goal to create $500,000.00 in new sales by the end of the first year of sales.
Educational/Experience Required:
College graduate or equivalent. Minimum two years experience in business management with service related sales. Excellent professional communication skills required.
